Would you like to organise a Charity Event at the Club?

The Management Committee are interested in supporting MEMBERS who wish to organise an event for members to raise funds for a UK based Charity at the Club. To make this possible, the Committee are willing to allow FREE use of the Club facilities on a few Saturday Evenings throughout the year.

If you would like to organise an event, please submit a proposal to the Club, either in writing or via email and we will contact you to discuss.

Lunchtime Take-Away Service

IBM Hursley Club runs a pre-order lunch time service for its members. You can find it under Bar & Catering in the Navigation Menu on the left.

This gives you the choice to order any fillings from Chicken Mayo to Cheese Salad, on white or wholemeal baguettes or sandwiches! Your order will be then ready to collect at the club bar from 11.45am that lunch time, however all orders must be placed by 10.45am. Add a drink and confectionary to your order and save on the usual bar prices.

Latin & Ballroom Dancing (HABLAD)

Sorry we were not able to run a real ‘Beginners’ group this term, however, the good news is that there seems to be a nibble of interest which may mean we can start next term. This would be from 7 until 8pm on Monday evenings in Hursley Club House. The costs are: Annual sub-section membership £10 non-members and £5 for members. The charge for the ten week term is £50 non-members and £45 for members which is really good value. Instruction is from Phyllis an expert in dance. The charge may be less if we have more participants, our minimum number to start this group is 4 couples.

Keep Fit Indoors

Now that the evenings are drawing in and it is harder to get your exercise in the daylight why not come and join us in the Sports Hall for circuit training ?

Join in the fun at our weekly exercise sessions every Wednesday evening from 5.30 to 6.30pm. The sessions, led by a lady instructor, are suitable for both men and women and for a wide range of abilities. The cost is very reasonable and we are offering Free Trial Sessions for new members so it won’t cost you a penny to give it a try !

Don’t forget – The key to getting fit is getting started !

Calling all shooting enthusiasts

Do you own an air rifle or pistol or have you ever wanted to try shooting? how would you like to join a Hursley based club?

Do you like to sing?

The Music Club Choir are looking for more singers for the Hursley Christmas Events this year.

The first rehearsal is on Monday 31st October between 12.15 and 1.15 in the Osman room in the Clubhouse, and as an added incentive, mince pies will be provided! Subsequent rehearsals will take place at the same time every Monday until Christmas. While the ability to read music would be helpful, it is not vital.
